I’m Matt, a theatre maker based in Sharjah (UAE) & Pontypridd (UK). I was Creative Associate at National Theatre Wales from 2011-13, where I set up WalesLab an artist development programme, and was Artistic Director of Camden People’s Theatre from 2006-11. Recent work includes the World Premiere of The First by Hassan Abdulrazzak, What Number do I call? & Songs for the end of the world.

Currently directing Things we lost in the flood in Sharjah and co-writing The art of collaboration – due to be published in 2025 by Routledge.
